She emphasized the importance of faith & determination when facing obstacles. Anna learned that putting her trust in God & believing in her path helped her overcome feelings of helplessness & uncertainty.
Embracing Independence & Self-Reliance
Anna highlighted the power of self-reliance & doing things for yourself. She stressed that we are capable of more than we often think & that pushing ourselves to try new things can lead to unexpected successes. Throughout our conversation, Anna emphasized the importance of believing in oneself & not always relying on others for help.
Resilience in the Face of Unexpected Challenges
We discussed how Anna maintains resilience during turbulent times, particularly in the context of starting a business just before the COVID-19 pandemic. She shared her experience of pivoting her business & learning to adapt to unexpected circumstances. Anna’s resilience comes from her ability to consider alternatives, her determination to succeed, & her willingness to acquire new skills when needed.
Finding Inspiration in Family & Community
When asked about who inspires her, Anna spoke passionately about her late father & her sister. She emphasized the importance of honesty, speaking up against injustice, & overcoming personal challenges.
